The goal

Complete all 6 mystery words before the 5-minute timer runs out. Each word is clued by a short description — like a crossword.

Placing letters — two ways

Method 1 — Drag: Press and hold a falling letter tile, drag it down to an empty word slot, and release to place it. Works with mouse or touchscreen.

Method 2 — Slot first: Click an empty word slot to select it (it highlights in blue), then click any falling letter tile to place it there instantly. Click the same slot again to deselect it.

Managing placed letters

• Letters can be placed in any slot — a word doesn't have to be spelled sequentially, left to right.
• A letter placed incorrectly is highlighted in RED. Drag it to another slot, drop it outside a slot to respawn it, or click (tap on a touchscreen) the letter to respawn it to the top of the grid.
• Dragging or placing onto a slot with a wrong letter replaces it — the incorrectly placed letter respawns at the top.
• Dragging or placing onto a slot with a correct letter is rejected — the incoming tile respawns instead.
• Once all slots in a word are filled it checks automatically. Correct letters turn green.

Scoring

• Points per word based on letter rarity × word length.
• Speed bonus — up to +500 pts for finishing all 6 words quickly.
• Bonus word — a 7th mystery word worth double points, available after all 6 are solved.

Coin bank & hints

• Earn 5 coins per word, 10 coins per level, 25 coins per bonus word.
• 🔤 Letter hint (10 coins) — reveals one correct letter in a slot. Max 2 per word, cannot complete the last letter.
• 💡 Word hint (25 coins) — shows a creative extra clue: a rhyme, famous character, or pop culture reference. One per word.
• 💰 Buy a letter (100 coins) — opens a popup to pick any letter A–Z. If you've selected an empty slot first, the letter goes straight there. If no slot is selected, the letter spawns at the top of the field and falls like any other tile. A bought letter behaves like any placed letter (turns red if wrong).

Bonus time

Once all 6 words are solved, letters keep falling and the timer keeps running. Use the remaining time to spell the bonus word!
